John Odimegwu

John Odimegwu, also known as Odis Arts, is a talented Nigerian-born mixed-media artist based in Ghana. From an early age, John showed a deep passion for art, starting to draw at the age of five. A self-taught artist, he specializes in pencil drawing, painting, abstract art, and fabric art collage, with a unique focus on African fabrics. His work celebrates cultural identity, individuality, and the beauty of African heritage.

John has exhibited his art in prominent venues such as the Africa Regent Hotel and Golden Tulip, along with various local art exhibitions in Ghana. He is also a proud member of GAVA (Ghana Art Association). His artwork aims to tell powerful stories, change lives, and bring joy to people by putting smiles on their faces. John’s passion for impacting others is a driving force behind his creations, as he uses his art to evoke emotions and connect with viewers on a deep level.

Currently, John is preparing for future artist residencies, where he plans to showcase his vibrant mixed-media collages and fabric art while continuing to spread positivity and creativity worldwide.
